Lens for Change Champions: Jenn Sweeney

For some people, giving back isn't just a side activity -it's woven into the fabric of who they are. Jenn Sweeney, Program Manager on our Content Supply & Services team, is one of those people. Her passion for community service is inspiring, and her journey exemplifies the profound impact one person can have when they genuinely care about others.
When we launched our social impact initiative, the Lens for Change program, Jenn was all in. She volunteered as a social impact ambassador, helping to embed the program's message into our culture. When we introduced our first Global Give Back Month, Jenn led our global engagement with Be My Eyes, an organization that supports individuals who are blind or have low vision. She helped engage more than 100 employees in assisting people with everyday tasks - whether it was opening a can of beans or selecting an outfit for a date.

Jenn is a perfect example of how initiatives like Lens for Change strengthen our company culture and foster meaningful community connections. She used her paid volunteer time off to dedicate extra hours to the Streetdog Foundation, a nonprofit she has been actively involved with since 2023. The Streetdog Foundation rescues stray dogs and finds them loving homes. Jenn went beyond typical volunteer work - she also served as an Education Specialist, rasing awareness about the dangers of dog breeding.

Jenn's volunteerism extends beyond animal welfare. She also particiaped in the March for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's month-long Daily Mile Walkathon, raising awareness and funds for mental health support.

In 2025, Jenn was nonimated for and won the Shutterstock Community Trailblazers Award, which recognizes employees who dedicate their time and resources to bettering their communities. True to her giving nature, she donated her award to the Streetdog Foundation.

We are excited to have employees like Jenn, who are so dedicated to their communities.
