We are seeking a Global People Operations Manager candidate for a 6-month contract. This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our People Ops and ensuring the seamless delivery of People support to employees. You will work closely with various departments across the organization to implement People strategies that support business objectives and promote a positive work environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in People operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
People Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations needs of the HR department, including employee records, data management, auditing, and system compliance
Support the first line response of HR department support inbox
Oversee and own all onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day policy management
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards
Continuously assess and improve HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Have an understanding of labor compliance requirements in key areas to support regional management
Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Management:
Lead HR projects, such as system upgrades, policy rollouts, and employee engagement initiatives
Work closely with other departments, such as Finance and IT, to ensure HR operations align with overall business goals

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or Equivalent Work Experience
7+ years of experience in HR operations, with a strong background in payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management
5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing HR operations teams
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, as well as Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the tech or media industry
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
Experience with global HR operations and understanding of international HR practices
Knowledge of advanced HR analytics and reporting techniques
Proven experience in leading HR process improvement initiatives

The pay range for this position is below:
• 47.00 - 62.00 per hour in New York
